Why get involved?
Simple, marketing is our profession. We are invested in marketing for their livelihood. Whatever the individual reasons a board member may have to step forward, we all possess one common trait. We want to be noticed and recognized as LEADERS in marketing.
There is no sugarcoating here - this is hard work. Everyone has a day job. Most have families. So how do they make time to volunteer for AMA? It's simple time management - if it is important to you, you will make time for it. Everyone on the board makes time for the work.
